– O God Beyond All Praising
Scripture Reading and Prayer / Lectura e Invocación
Oh sing to the Lord a new song,
for he has done marvelous things!
His right hand and his holy arm
have worked salvation for him.
The Lord has made known his salvation;
he has revealed his righteousness in the sight of the nations.
He has remembered his steadfast love and faithfulness
to the house of Israel.
All the ends of the earth have seen
the salvation of our God.
Make a joyful noise to the Lord, all the earth;
break forth into joyous song and sing praises!
Sing praises to the Lord with the lyre,
with the lyre and the sound of melody!
Make a joyful noise before the King, the Lord! (Psalm 98:1-6)
Canten al Señor un cántico nuevo,
porque ha hecho maravillas.
Su diestra, su santo brazo,
ha alcanzado la victoria.
El Señor ha hecho gala de su triunfo;
por el pueblo de Israel;
Lord’s Prayer / El Padre Nuestro
Our Father in heaven,
hallowed be your name.
Your kingdom come, your will be done,
on earth as it is in heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread,
and forgive us our debts,
as we also have forgiven our debtors.
And lead us not into temptation,
but deliver us from evil.
For yours is the kingdom
and the power and the glory forever.
Padre nuestro que estás en el cielo,
santificado sea tu nombre.
mas líbranos del mal;
– Shine on Us
Confession of Sins | God Forgives His Church
Minister: Brothers and sisters, since we have confidence to enter the holy places by the blood of Jesus, let us draw near and humbly confess our sins to God.
C: Father eternal, giver of light and grace, we have sinned against you and against our neighbor, in thought, word, and deed, through ignorance, through weakness, through our own deliberate fault. We have wounded your love and marred your image in us. We are ashamed and sorry, and we repent of all our sins. For the sake of your Son Jesus Christ, who died for us, we humbly ask you to forgive us all that is past; and lead us out from darkness to walk as children of light. Amen.
Assurance of Pardon / Seguridad de Perdón
According to the promises of the new covenant, God will be merciful to you and remember your sins no more.
Now, lift up your hearts. We lift them up to the Lord.
Ahora, levanten sus corazones. Los levantamos al Señor.

Scripture Reading and Prayer – 2 Chronicles 6:32-33; Mark 11:15-17; Acts 10:34-44
OT – When a foreigner, who is not of your people Israel, comes from a far country for the sake of your great name and your mighty hand and your outstretched arm, when he comes and prays toward this house, hear from heaven your dwelling place and do according to all for which the foreigner calls to you, in order that all the peoples of the earth may know your name and fear you, as do your people Israel, and that they may know that this house that I have built is called by your name.
And they came to Jerusalem. And he entered the temple and began to drive out those who sold and those who bought in the temple, and he overturned the tables of the money-changers and the seats of those who sold pigeons. And he would not allow anyone to carry anything through the temple. And he was teaching them and saying to them, “Is it not written, ‘My house shall be called a house of prayer for all the nations’? But you have made it a den of robbers.”
NT – So Peter opened his mouth and said: “Truly I understand that God shows no partiality, but in every nation anyone who fears him and does what is right is acceptable to him. As for the word that he sent to Israel, preaching good news of peace through Jesus Christ (he is Lord of all), you yourselves know what happened throughout all Judea, beginning from Galilee after the baptism that John proclaimed: how God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Spirit and with power. He went about doing good and healing all who were oppressed by the devil, for God was with him. And we are witnesses of all that he did both in the country of the Jews and in Jerusalem. They put him to death by hanging him on a tree, but God raised him on the third day and made him to appear, not to all the people but to us who had been chosen by God as witnesses, who ate and drank with him after he rose from the dead. And he commanded us to preach to the people and to testify that he is the one appointed by God to be judge of the living and the dead. To him all the prophets bear witness that everyone who believes in him receives forgiveness of sins through his name.”
Collect: O Lord, let your mercy, continually cleanse and defend your Church; and, because she cannot continue in safety without your help, protect and govern her always by your goodness; through Jesus Christ our Lord, who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, for ever and ever. Amen
Sermon: Acts 10:34-44
Pastoral Prayer — O God, you made us in your own image and redeemed us through Jesus your Son: Look with compassion on all the world; take away the arrogance and hatred which infect our hearts; break down the walls that separate us; unite us in bonds of love; and work through our struggle and confusion to accomplish your purposes on earth; that, in your good time, all nations and races may serve you in harmony around your heavenly throne; through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen (BCP Prayers For Peace and Justice)

Confession of Faith
Congregation Reads – The Apostles’ Creed
I believe in God, the Father Almighty,
Maker of heaven and earth,
and in Jesus Christ, His only Son, our Lord:
Who was conceived of the Holy Spirit,
born of the Virgin Mary,
suffered under Pontius Pilate,
was crucified, died, and was buried.
He descended into death;
The third day He arose again from the dead.
He ascended into heaven
and sits at the right hand of God the Father Almighty,
whence He shall come to judge the living and the dead.
I believe in the Holy Spirit,
the holy catholic Church,
the communion of saints,
the forgiveness of sins,
the resurrection of the body,
and life everlasting.

Prayers of Thanksgiving for the Body and Blood of Christ
O merciful Lord, we do not presume to come to your Table, trusting in our own righteousness, but in your manifold and great mercies. We are not worthy so much as to gather up the crumbs under your Table. But you are merciful and gracious, slow to anger, and abounding in steadfast love and faithfulness: Grant us therefore, gracious Lord, so to eat the flesh of your beloved Son Jesus Christ, and to drink his blood, that our sinful bodies may be made clean by his Body, and our souls washed through his most precious Blood, and that we may evermore dwell in him, and he in us. Amen. (Prayer of Humble Access / adapted by JMT)
Words of Institution / Palabras de Institución – 1 Cor. 11:23-26
For I received from the Lord what I also delivered to you, that the Lord Jesus on the night when he was betrayed took bread, and when he had given thanks, he broke it, and said, “This is my body, which is for you. Do this in remembrance of me.” In the same way, also he took the cup, after supper, saying, “This cup is the new covenant in my blood. Do this, as often as you drink it, in remembrance of me.”

Response / Respuesta
For as often as you eat this bread and drink the cup, you proclaim the Lord’s death until he comes. Thanks be to God for his inexpressible gift!
May the body and blood of our Lord Jesus Christ strengthen and preserve you steadfast in the true faith unto everlasting life. In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit.
