CALL TO WORSHIP | God Gathers His Church

– Arise O God and Shine

Lord, our Lord,
how majestic is your name in all the earth!
You have set your glory above the heavens.
Out of the mouth of babies and infants,
you have established strength because of your foes,
to still the enemy and the avenger.
Lord, our Lord,
how majestic is your name in all the earth!

CONFESSION OF SINS | God Forgives His Church

Minister: Be seated, and let us humbly confess our sins unto Almighty God.
Ministro: Sentados, confesemos humildemente nuestros pecados a Dios Todopoderoso.

MinisterIf we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.

Minister: Stand and lift up your heart, trusting that the blood of Jesus cleanses us from all sin.

CONSECRATION | God Equips His Church

Scripture Reading and Prayer — Luke 18:15-17; 2 Tim 3:13-15

Now they were bringing even infants to him that he might touch them. And when the disciples saw it, they rebuked them. But Jesus called them to him, saying, “Let the children come to me, and do not hinder them, for to such belongs the kingdom of God. Truly, I say to you, whoever does not receive the kingdom of God like a child shall not enter it.” (Luke 18:15-17)

Evil people and impostors will go on from bad to worse, deceiving and being deceived. But as for you, continue in what you have learned and have firmly believed, knowing from whom you learned it and how from infancy you have been acquainted with the sacred writings, which are able to make you wise for salvation through faith in Christ Jesus. (2 Timothy 3:13-15)

Collect. Almighty and everlasting God, who governs all things in heaven and earth; Mercifully hear the supplications of your people, and grant us your peace all the days of our life; through Jesus Christ our Lord. And heavenly Father, who has blessed us with the joy and care of children; Give us light and strength so to train them, that they may love whatsoever things are true and pure and lovely and of good report, following the example of their Saviour Jesus Christ. Amen.

Joseph: Stories of God’s Providence for the Good, the Bad, and the Ugly

Sermon – The Birth of Joseph and the Sanctity of Human Life (Genesis 30:22-24)

Then God remembered Rachel, and God listened to her and opened her womb. She conceived and bore a son and said, “God has taken away my reproach.” And she called his name Joseph, saying, “May the Lord add to me another son!”

Pastoral Prayer:

We remember today, O God, the slaughter of the holy innocents of Bethlehem by the order of King Herod; and we remember the immoral decision of the Supreme Court that led to the slaughter of many unborn babies of America. We ask you to receive into the arms of your mercy all those innocent victims; and by your power frustrate the designs of evil judges and the deeds of wicked physicians, and establish your rule of justice, love, and peace throughout the United States of America and the rest of the world; also, we beg you to end the wretchedness of those who choose death over life, who choose destroying life over defending life and delivering it from evil; and we ask you to give the truth of the gospel to those who are deluded and deceived, and to help the helpless, and to grant repentance to the rebellious; and we pray that you will rise up and defend the cause of the un-born, the fatherless, and the single-moms, through Jesus Christ our Lord, who lives and reigns with you, in the unity of the Holy Spirit, one God, for ever and ever. Amen.

CONFESSION OF FAITH | God Sustains His Church

I believe in God the Father,
Almighty Maker of heaven and earth,
and in Jesus Christ, His only Son, our Lord:
Who was conceived of the Holy Spirit,
born of the Virgin Mary,
suffered under Pontius Pilate,
was crucified, died, and was buried.
He descended into death.
The third day He arose again from the dead.
He ascended into heaven,
and sits at the right hand of God the Father Almighty,
whence He shall come to judge the living and the dead.
I believe in the Holy Spirit,
the holy *catholic church,
the communion of saints,
the forgiveness of sins,
the resurrection of the body,
and life everlasting.
Amen

Come Boldly To The Throne Of Grace

COMMUNION | God Nourishes His Church

Scripture Reading and Prayer /  Lectura y Oración –

Jesus said to them, “I am the bread of life; whoever comes to me shall not hunger, and whoever believes in me shall never thirst. But I said to you that you have seen me and yet do not believe. All that the Father gives me will come to me, and whoever comes to me I will never cast out. For I have come down from heaven, not to do my own will but the will of him who sent me. And this is the will of him who sent me, that I should lose nothing of all that he has given me, but raise it up on the last day. For this is the will of my Father, that everyone who looks on the Son and believes in him should have eternal life, and I will raise him up on the last day.” John 6:35-40

[ Interlude – Instrumental ]

Offerings and Thanksgiving / Ofrendas e Acción de Gracias –

A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another: just as I have loved you, you also are to love one another. By this all people will know that you are my disciples, if you have love for one another.” John 13:34-35

God Of My Life To Thee I Call

COMMISSION | God Sends His Church

Prayer for all Families / Oración para Familias

God, our heavenly Father, who sets the lonely in families; We commend to your continual care the homes in which your people dwell. Put far from them, we ask you, every root of bitterness, the desire of vain-glory, and the pride of life. Fill them with faith, virtue, knowledge, temperance, patience, godliness. Knit together in constant affection those who, in holy wedlock, have been made one flesh; turn the heart of the fathers to the children, and the heart of the children to the fathers; and so enkindle fervent love among us all, that we may always be kind and affectionate with brotherly love; through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.

Benediction: May the Lord bless you and keep you; the Lord make his face to shine upon you and be gracious to you; the Lord lift up his countenance upon you and give you peace. Amen
